My router is a 4 or 5 year-old N600 (Belkin) -- so not cutting edge/top of the line, but so far enough for 1 person in an apartment. My internet connection is via cable modem and reasonably fast by suburban standards (up to 25 Mbps wireless, close to 100 Mbps wired.)

It's not a virus because the computers been thru 2 System Recoverys. Is it the modem box and is there anything I can do to fix it? About a month or two ago the chat support person said she had checked my service and had determined that my problem was a bad Cable Modem. She said she would quickly send me a new Panoramic modem that would completely solve my problem and provide me much better service for only $11 or so per month for

My internet drops every few minutes. I’ve called and spent hours and hours for the employees to do the same thing and still it’s not working. I’ve had a guy from Comcast come out and still same problem. My old router never gave me issues. I’m getting pretty annoyed to pay $100 a month for my internet to drop every dang min.
