your WRT54GL depends on what version it is. but according to the router database it says v1.0/1.1 have 4MB Flash/16MB of RAM which if that's what you can get you can run all builds of DD-WRT besides MEGA which is only for routers with 8MB of flash ram which not to many have that nowadays especially on your more typical Wireless G routers.
