Dec 01, 2015 · rTorrent is the most popular torrent client for linux. It can run on very low level hardware, headless (without a screen) and you can use the GUI ruTorrent to manage it remotely. I will be installing it on this crappy old pink Dell Mini 10.
rtorrent is a BitTorrent client for ncurses, using the libtorrent library. The client and library is written in C++ with emphasis on speed and efficiency, while delivering equivalent features to those found in GUI based clients in an ncurses client.
My Problem: The completed download files (e.g. an mp4 file, or folder of mp4 files) does not have correct permissions that allow the folder/files to be opened in Kodi. What I need is a line in my rtorrent.rc config that, after a torrent finishes, either before or after the data is moved to the completed folder, executes chmod to set the appropriate permissions.
