With lots of help from Juniper's JTAC team we managed to configure NCP client and make it talk VPN to SRX300. Here's an excerpt of the SRX config with generic values specifically for the NCP client-Gateway VPN communication. ALL THE CREDIT FOR WRITING THE EXCERPT BELOW GOES TO THE JTAC TEAM and not me. Starting with version 15.1X49-D80.4 the Juniper SRX supports dialup vpn over a connection to port 443 with the NCP client.
