Dec 23, 2015 · Unfortunately my screenshot software is a bit buggy, but below left is xubuntu's mine game and to the right shows my unity compiled binaries, and I didn't have to download any other require linux libraries, it just worked out of the box.

Xubuntu is a free Linux operating system that is easy to install. It has an interface that is similar to Windows and so is easy to learn for Windows users. It is a lightweight version of the Ubuntu operating system and makes a good Windows replacement. Xubuntu is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu. Unlike its parent, however, Xubuntu uses the light-weight XFce desktop environment and is optimised for lower-end machines. The distribution includes only GTK+ applications where possible. The Xubuntu team has announced the release of Xubuntu 16.04.
